This snow cone maker has lasted 3 years now, and it’s still going strong. We bought in 2022 and are enjoying snow cones in the summer of 2025. The quality of this product is exceptional. It’s even held up through a move across the county! The ice is shaved perfectly each time. We use ice out of our freezer and get a great snow cone each time we shave it. It’s a little loud but I think that’s to be expected. My tween kids use this machine by themselves. We use different types of cups to catch the ice, and there is generally a little that spills out over. However, it’s just ice so we don’t worry. We store it in our hallway closet machine with the rest of our kitchen appliances. The lid doesn’t close shut (when not in use) but that’s part of the design. You close the lid to start making the snow cones. Highly recommend this machine for finely shave ice!
